I Understand the Challenge
I do not start by choosing a header style. First, we clarify what the site needs to achieve, whom it serves, and what visitors need to know.
UX/UI design · WordPress development
I design and develop WordPress websites, from planning the structure and visual system to building a working site you can edit.
My Tools
Design + development
Many web projects pass between separate specialists: one plans the structure, another designs the interface, and someone else tries to build it.
For me, WordPress development is part of the design process, rather than a separate technical step.
While designing, I already consider how the interface will work technically. During development, I understand exactly which UX and design decisions need to carry through.
I do not start by choosing a header style. First, we clarify what the site needs to achieve, whom it serves, and what visitors need to know.
I design the information structure, user flows, and interface system. Design is more than decoration: it makes the content easier to understand and use.
The work does not stop in Figma. I build the design in WordPress and on the frontend, making it responsive, editable, and suited to real content.
Featured Work
My case studies show both the finished interface and the decisions that shaped it.

You only need to know what problem you want to solve. We can work out the right approach together.
01
End-to-end web project
Structure, UX, UI, and WordPress implementation in one process.
02
UX / UI design
Design of the structure, behavior, and visual system of websites and digital products.
03
WordPress / frontend
Precise, responsive, editable development from an existing or custom UI design. I can also build a WordPress site from your finished Figma design.
04
Brand / graphic design
If your web project still needs a visual foundation, I can help with brand identity and related digital or print materials.
05
Website audit
I review your existing website's UX, UI, performance, SEO, functionality, and security. After identifying issues and opportunities, I can also implement the improvements.
06
WordPress maintenance
Fixed-fee WordPress maintenance with updates, backups, and security checks. The package also includes small content and technical changes, so you do not need a separate developer for every minor update.
How I Work
What should the website achieve? Who is it for? What works now, and what does not? We start by clarifying the challenge, goals, and content.
I map the information, features, and user journeys we need, using wireframes, user flows, or prototypes where useful.
The structure becomes a visual system of typography, colors, components, and interactions that support the content and make it easier to use.
I turn the approved interface into a working website that is responsive and editable, with technical needs considered from the design stage.
Documentation, training, and further development when needed help you use the site independently over time.
About Me
I am Panni Turnhauser, a UX/UI designer and frontend and WordPress developer.
I enjoy projects where we can find the right solution together, instead of simply carrying out a predetermined one.
I want to understand the content, the users, and the business goals. Pixel-perfect execution alone is not enough without them.
Google Reviews
Real written reviews from my Google profile.
“Working with Panni is smooth and flexible. She inherited a somewhat tangled system, rebuilt the foundations of our websites, and after starting with simpler maintenance tasks successfully led a complex website rebuild. She translated our vision into practice, helped us develop ideas and found a solution to every request. She is always available, reliably delivers on her commitments and explains the reasons behind decisions in terms a non-specialist can understand. I especially value the clear, professional documentation, which lets our internal team manage and develop the site with confidence.”
“Our work with Panni began when Harmony Flow Dance was just starting out. She designed my first logo and website, and almost three years later I returned to her for a complete renewal. I particularly value the trust between us: she understands my ideas even when I describe them through images, moods and possibilities rather than technical language. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone who wants a distinctive website and to those who want to build their online presence with business and marketing goals in mind. Whether you already have a strong vision or are still looking for a direction, Panni helps you find its place and form online. You can count on her both as a website creator and as a long-term professional partner. Her work contributed not only to my website but also to my growth as a business owner.”

You do not need a finished brief or design.
Tell me briefly what you are working on, where the project stands, and what kind of help you need. I will suggest a sensible next step.
Frequently Asked Questions
Not at all. You do not need a finished brief or an exact list of services.
Tell me what you want to achieve, what is ready and where you see the problem. We can then decide together whether you need UX design, a new UI, WordPress development or a combination.
Yes. I can take a project from its initial structure and UX strategy through UI design to the finished WordPress website.
Design and technical decisions stay connected: I consider implementation during design and preserve the original UX and visual intent during development.
Yes.
I also work from existing UI designs, with a focus on accurate, responsive and technically sound implementation.
Because I also work as a designer, I consider each element's role in the visual system and user experience, as well as its position on the page.
WordPress itself does not make a website slow.
Performance depends more on the frontend, unnecessary code and plugins, and how images, fonts, animations and external scripts are handled.
Where appropriate, I build a lightweight custom WordPress solution and pay close attention to Core Web Vitals, load speed and stability.
Yes. I plan for this during development.
Recurring content such as case studies, projects, news, courses or products should be manageable independently in the admin area.
I can add custom fields, content types and editing guidance, and provide documentation or training at handover.
I take the technical and structural SEO foundations into account during development.
This can include site structure, heading hierarchy, titles and metadata, canonical URLs, indexing settings, structured data, sitemaps, redirects, image optimisation and internal links.
Ongoing content marketing or a full SEO campaign is a separate area, but I build a sound technical base for future work.
It depends greatly on the project's complexity.
A small service website, a full redesign, a WooCommerce store and a site with custom interactions or content management each have different scopes.
We first discuss the goals and required features, and I then prepare a specific quote.
Our work does not have to end at handover.
I can help with later changes, new features, technical maintenance and further development.
The goal is a system that remains extendable and manageable over time.
